Outright Gifts
• Gifts of Cash – The simplest method of giving. Commitments given over
time (i.e., a pledge) are an excellent way to maximize the total amount of a
cash gift.
• Gifts of Appreciated Property – Giving securities and/or real estate can be
an attractive alternative to cash gifts.
Pledged Gifts
Payments on a multi-year commitment can take a variety of forms such as cash, securities, or other types of appreciated property.
Other Arrangements
There are other options that can be explored and we encourage you to contact your personal financial advisors for more information. These options include deferred gifts such as bequests, life income plans and life insurance. Modesto Christian School retains legal and financial counsel to manage its interests related to non-cash gifts.
